My Guide scope is a William Optics Zenith Star 70 mm APO Refractor and I use it to mount my LodeStar Guider Camera so I can view the details of what I am imaging without touching the scope or mount as well as to guide with when performing long exposures, As I have covered the different types of scopes under the Main Scope page I won’t repeat this again.

It is a very compact scope but given it’s rugged construction is a bit heavy. It has a 2″ focuser the same as the Megrez 90 mm APO so can carry alot of weight if required. It serves it’s purpose but I wouldn’t recommend it as a visual tool.
