For my Auxillary Camera I use the GStar EX mono camera as it is a powerful and sensitive “video” camera that can be used for a wide range of Astronomy purposes. I use this through my William Optics Zenith Star 70mm Telescope and can clearly see faint galaxies and nebulae in realtime. I primarily use it as I cannot view my targets easliy without bumping my mount so this is a hands free option. Also as noted this is a video camera so the feed is truly real time (e.g. if you move the mount you will see the results immediatly on the video feed.

In the future I am planning to use this as a guide camera in PHD as it can find the faintest of stars very easliy compared to other guide cameras, this just needs an upgrade in my video capture device.
